Our apprenticeship model program is a chance to build your confidence as a model and learn what it takes to be a model in photography. The apprenticeship model program will help you build a portfolio and feel comfortable in front of the camera and people.
The program is on selective bases for the applicant that have the desire and commitment to model. You will be able to try different looks and styles to select areas that interest you in modeling. This is a TFP (Trade for Print or CD) program which means the both you and the photographer trade your time for either prints or a CD of the images.

Our aspiring model program is for models that have some experience or have a background in acting (school or local theater). Your comfortable in front of the camera, people, and can show emotions in you posing.
The program is on selective bases for the applicant that has the desire and commitment to peruse a career in modeling. You will be able to expand your different looks and styles to areas that interest you in modeling.
This is a 50/50 (some pay depending on experience) and a TFP (Trade for Print or CD) program which means the both you and the photographer trade your time for either prints or a CD of the images.

We are accepting applications from both male and female to enter the local 2009 High School Senior Model contest.
Any 2009 high school senior photographed at our studio or on location can choose to have his/her senior portraits entered into the model competition. Each entering senior will receive a set of 100 FREE business cards with their photo on the card. Hand these out to your friends and each referral that comes to us gets you 5-points toward your senior portrait session (It takes 25-points for your Senior Star for a half day session valued at $750).
Details: Contest closes Jan 15th 2009, and judging on Jan 30th, 2009. There will be a male and female Senior of the Year selected the grand prize is a free Senior Model Star for a full day, with the photographer, make-up artist, plus a 16x20 wall print and 20 wallet size cards. We are accepting applications for both male a female models of all ages for our 2009 stock image campaign. We are building our library of stock lifestyle images (ordinary people doing ordinary everyday things).
This program is for all ages and we want to get images of people in action, sports, work, eating, etc. The selected models will have the opportunity to do a 50/50 either paid or TFP (Trade for Prints/or CD) of selected images for their own portfolio, agency submissions, or just to share with friends.
This is a great opportunity for the aspiring model or others that are considering if modeling is something they want to try. The nut and bolts of the program:
1-First PAP Studio photo session generally last around an hour.
2-Sign a model release (minor under 18-yo a parent or guardian must be present and sign)
3-Sign a copy of the Photo Ambassador Program, and how credits are earned.
4-We print up business cards with their image on it.
5- Ten electronic files for sharing via Facebook, MySpace, etc (with our logo on it).
6- PAP’s hands out cards to family and friends and tells them about Wayne Miller Photography.
7-As referrals book a session the (PAP) receive a 10% credit of the sale toward their own image portfolio, or if they preferred 5% in cash from the sale.
